The most unpleasant thing when painting on artificial leather is the fragility of the work performed and the possibility of negative changes to the already painted material. But if desired, by selecting even different tensions of the same material, you can achieve fairly good results. This method will also help you gain the experience necessary to work with more serious and expensive materials.
Features of applying face painting
Face painting must be applied in several layers to make the drawing rich and bright. Before “creating” on the skin, it is recommended to draw what you want on a piece of paper, so to speak, to practice. If you don’t have any special creative talent, you can apply elementary drawings: a butterfly, a heart, a flower, and so on. To make the design unique, you can use gloss for face painting, which is applied after the paint has dried well.
It is highly not recommended to use oil paint for face painting, as it clogs pores, smears, and in general, using it will not achieve the desired effect. It is prudent to use only water-based paints!
Thanks to face painting, you can make any image perfect. For example, if a child will be a clown at a matinee and the costume has already been purchased, you can do the following face painting. Under the left and above the left eye you need to draw one black triangle. Circles are drawn on both cheeks, maybe small, in red. The middle of the circle is tinted with white gloss. Drawing with foam rubber

Soil (from the English ground - soil) - in painting technology - a thin layer of a special composition, applied on top of the base in order to give the surface the technological qualities required by the artist, usually consists of a lower thin adhesive layer and upper ground layers.
The soil absorbs part of the binder, retaining it in the painting layer as long as necessary to avoid fading of the paints, and promotes strong adhesion of the painting to the base.
The composition of the primer is adhesive (pulling), oil, emulsion and synthetic, and the color is white, tinted and colored.
In decorative cosmetics, primer is a layer of makeup that is applied on top of day cream or products that mask skin defects.
It can be liquid, creamy, solid, with varying coverage.
There are also primers for surfaces that have insufficient adhesion to paints, and pore-filling primers for leather.
Such materials for body painting are produced, for example, by the company Schmincke (Germany). Such primers can also be used as a final glossy elastic varnish.
Thanks to the fixative, the body painting pattern lasts longer, is not afraid of water and mechanical influences, does not suffer from sweat and does not stain clothes.
The fixative allows you to use body painting in events held “on the water”.
The fixative (from English - to fix) is a transparent liquid that is sprayed over the pattern applied to the skin and covers it with a thin protective film.

3. Don’t forget that it’s hard for babies to sit still, they need to constantly move. Therefore, even simple drawings on the face of children need to be done quickly and clearly. Movements must be confident. If the child is tired, take a break, let him move a little and warm up.
Drawing with stamps for children
Apply paint to the stamp and apply it to the paper, press down. An imprint of the picture will remain on the paper. Show your child how to work with it. The stamps can be painted in different colors; instead of ready-made stamps, you can use homemade ones. For example, to make circles with straws, you can use figures from sorters, parts from construction sets, and even cut vegetables and fruits.
A very interesting texture is obtained if, instead of a stamp, you use a regular napkin with pimples. Dip it into the paint and, as if blotting, walk it over a sheet of paper.
Drawings with masking tape
Molar tape sticks and peels off paper well, so it can be used in drawing and get interesting effects. For example, you can make a birch forest: cut out tree trunks from tape, you can glue twigs and branches from the leftovers, and glue the tape onto a sheet of paper. Paint everything on top with paint, when it dries, remove the tape, white stripes will remain under it. All you have to do is add details and the forest is ready!
You can cut out something more complex, such as houses and draw a whole city. The good thing about adhesive tape is that it can be used instead of a stencil, but paint drips are unlikely to get under it, and there is no need to fix it additionally.
You can also use the tape as a frame for the picture, when you remove it, the edges of the picture will be clear and it will be neat.

The first stage is preparation
To prepare the skin for applying paint, it is advisable to degrease it and remove dirt. The master class for painting on leather with acrylic paints recommends degreasing with alcohol (sometimes other organic solvents are recommended) or a solution of potash in water (1 teaspoon of powder per glass of water). The treatment must be carried out quickly, easily and evenly wiping the material with a small amount of solvent so as not to damage the treated top layer. After degreasing, the leather must be allowed to dry before painting.
The surface to be painted must be stretched so that the acrylic lays down in an even thin layer and dries evenly.
